  This is about the closest you will get to a Selmer Mark VI, for a lot less money.
  
  The neck was repaired and a few parts were soldered but by Paul Maslin, one of the best saxophone technicians in US. (Michael Brecker, Dr. Hemke, etc). It has Kangaroo Pads and metal resonators. The tuning of this saxophone is also amazing. Don't expect less than amazing by any horns repaired by Paul Maslin.
  
  This instrument has a very fat and warm sound that I totally love. This tenor at this price is a steal, competes easily with any $7-8k Mark VI.
