A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he is a faculty member at both the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Wheaton College instructing private lessons for saxophone and jazz piano, directing music ensembles and teaching Jazz Theory and African-American Music History.  

I was so fortunate to study saxophone under Dr. Earl Ericksen. He taught me to play classically and he also taught me to play jazz. He played both styles very well. It was a small school where I was taken under the wings of brilliant musicians and instructors.

This place is killing. Awesome musicians, some awesome professors. I grew so much here.

This was an amazing school. It helped that Walt Weiskopf was teaching there when I went though.

I got my masters from this school, great jazz school, more emphasis in small group playing. Great program overall.

I got my undergrad degree from this school. Really good place to experience being around so many good players. Great for overall jazz studies especially big band playing.
