You may want to talk to Karlhos. He is a P Mauriat artist.
Great musician and great friend.
Hi Lucasz, I not yet played in these models that you cited but, i buy one alto System 76 2ª edition, and it's a unbilivieble sax, have a incredible mechanics and exepcional tone. It has the tone darkest, however easy to play in all the registers.
I wait to have helped.
obs. i had altos: Yamaha YAS-62 (1994), L.A. 800 (1997), SELMER SUPER BALANCED ACTION (2001 year of buy), EAGLE VG (2003), P.Mauriat (2010)
I have a gold plated System 76 soprano which was a custom job done for me by the factory. It's sp smooth and intonation is spot on. Add to that the ease of play modern sopranos have in the upper registers and it's a total winner.
I also own a vintage MKVI soprano and the Mauriat smokes it on every level. And it isn't just me, every cat I play with has taken time out to admire the horn and mention how much better it sounds.
Thank you very much! It means a lot!
Hey everyone, I am a P Mauriat Artist. These horns are the very best on the market. I played on a bunch of horns over the past several years (Mark VI, Yamaha, Yanagisawa, Selmer)....none of these horns come anywhere close to the Mauriat horns. They are extremely free blowing, fantastic intonation and extremely large projecting sound. I guarantee if you try out one of these horns you will never go back to your old horn.
Hi everyone I`m considering buying a P Mauriat 76 second edition tenor, does anyone have any feedback on these horns? I heard so many good things about them from artists but would like to hear it from actual every day players who owe these horns, I have been playing on Cannonball vintage models for about 4 years now but I find the CB lack colous in the high registers Thanks
After more then 2 years of owning a 66rul, I still love that sax. Sometimes, I go back on my old Conn for fun. I really love both saxes much more then Selmer or Yamaha. I am now recording my first cd in my name and it is with the Mauriat. What I love the most about my saxes is the vibration.
