We trucked it, flew it, and loaded it countless times over the last three months and it never let me down. Best money I ever spent on the well-being of my instruments and subsequently, the case set me up to play confidently every night knowing that the horns were in great condition. I'll be singing the praises of Battle Cases down under.”

    Hi Melissa,
Battle cases are a new company built from the knowledge of a touring sax player.
There are only a few materials used to make cases. Most cases are designed for personal transport.
Material/foam: Such as Reunion Blues or Bam. Very little protection
Blow mold plastic: Most plastic instrument shaped mold cases are made this way. They can easily break. SKB style
Fiberglass: Strong but brittle. Fiberglass can break.
Fabrication: A fabricated case is made of wood. Most cases used for tours are made of this type. Anvil style.
Injection molded/roto-mold: The strongest, lightest, cases on the market. Will not break.
Next is the interior. It’s nice to have pretty velvet inside a case, however, if the appropriate foam is not in the case any shock, drop, hit or force to the case can damage the contents.
The only materials that can be trusted with airlines or tour crews would be injection molded cases or fabricated cases with thick wood.
The combination tour case is built using Pelican shells. Pelican is the bes...    less

    Combination Tour Sax Case
In today’s ever changing world of travel, it’s becoming more and more difficult for musicians to safely transport their valuable instruments. Instruments that they rely on to make a living.
With the airlines charging per bag, and limiting the size and number of carry on baggage, it financially makes sense to consolidate as much as possible.
With a Battle Case, you have complete piece of mind when you check your case at the airport or put it on a tour truck, that it will be safe, in one piece and in perfect working condition when you arrive at your destination.
Your Battle Case will not break, crack or bend. It is completely air tight, waterproof, dust proof and crush proof and perfect for long-term storage if necessary. The foam is laser cut to perfectly hold your instrument in place no matter the conditions. The shell is inject molded and built to military specs...  more

battle Cases → Melvin Llord (Admin): The Battle Cases are THE most protective case on the market. They are inject molded. NOTHING will break them. They come with a life time warrenty. We don't believe Bam or any other case manufucturer can say that.
