Dear Dr. Hemke, I studied saxophone with Dr. Earl Ericksen at Weber State in Ogden, Utah many years ago. At that time, he was so hopeful that I would continue my studying for further degrees and he wanted me to study with you. I thought maybe I would teach band a few years and then go back to school and study with you later. Well, 30 years has gone by and life took me a different direction. Dr. Ericksen admired you so much. He passed away last Summer. He was a huge influence in my life. Maybe you remember him? Sincerely, Sheryl Moore Laukat CEO, Cannonball Musical Instruments less
