Biography
Nate Fitzgerald is a saxophonist, composer, and music director. Over the years he has worked with most of the Motown Recording giants, in addition to jazz and blues greats such as Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, B.B. King, The O'Jays, Temptations, Roy Ayers, and Grover Washington Jr. to name a few. Nate's new recording on the Monad Label, entitled "Champagne Sketches" has delighted music lovers around the world. Featured on one of the cd selections is an instrument called the "Synthophone" which is an electronic saxophone that is not widely used in the industry due to the limited Swiss production and the shortage of qualified teachers in the state. Nate's undisputed mastery of the instrument has inspired his fans to rename it the "LoveHorn", taking the artists' music to new heights. In recent months, The Love Horn Experience has performed at well known establishments such as Birdland, B.Smith's, The Cotton Club and Newark Symphony Hall. Nate is currently working on a second Cd which is scheduled to be released this fall.
