And that means because though the tenor and the straight tenor belong to the same family, they are different in many creative and fascinating ways.     This straight tenor saxophone marks the beginning of a new era of
    awareness on this in the saxophone world, and there will be more to come!
    The possibilities are endless- and this is just the beginning.

    The Jazz in the Classroom workshop is part of Tim Price's popular "Adventures in Jazz Series."

    In performance-oriented settings, Tim Price works with young artists to
    improve both musical awareness and technical skills. When circumstances

    help their students prepare materials to play in a master class setting.
    Students and faculty benefit from both the performance itself and Tim's

As important to understand how they played, it is to also be yourself. Who would Brecker be if he didn't do his own thing? He would have been under the shadow of someone else. Some players that have been very unique include Gato Barbieri, Sanborn & Kenny G. Whether you like them or not, they changed the way thousands of other sax players played! Now it's time for us to be original and maybe the following generation will follow us instead! :)
