Christopher Greco So this week I finished my auditions at USF and I made 3rd chair Symphony and 2nd Tenor in Jazz II. It is going to be a long but fun semester :)
Biography
I am a young musician that is training to become a music educator at the University of South Florida. I have been playing saxophone for 10 years and I am always eager to learn new tips and tricks with the horn.
This will be the first of a 4 part series on how to develop your altissimo register! I will cover the overtone series, Bugle calls, Altissimo Scales, and finally putting it all together!
This session will feature a discussion of how to play in a saxophone section. Balance, Blend, and intonation. Don't just play like four soloist play like a section!!!! We will have special guests the DynaSax Quartet!
